The tournament’s healthcare partners, AAR Healthcare and the Kenyatta National Hospital, will provide free Covid-19 vaccine injections to fans during the Safari 7s.
AstraZeneca and Moderna are the vaccines that will be provided.
The competition is back this year after being postponed in 2020 owing to the Covid-19 outbreak, which affected local and global sports.
The event will include 12 teams, who will be divided into four pools of four teams each. Shujaa is in Pool A, where they will face the Zimbabwe Cheetahs, Germany, and the Nigeria Stallions sevens, teams.
On Sunday, the top two teams from each pool, as well as the best two third-placed teams, will compete in the Cup quarter-finals.
