Former Nation Editor, Njeri Rugene, the former top Nation Editor is the new head of Communication at Deputy President’s office.
Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei made the announcement this evening.
Rugene has been the Chief Parliamentary Editor at the Daily Nation, the Regional News Director in Coast Province and the News and Content Editor at the NMG.
Also appointed is Emmanuel Talam as the Press Secretary of the Presidential Communication Service and Reuben Maiyo as the Private Secretary.
