Mr. Nathan Lyod Ndungu who owns a dual citizenship is said to have committed the offense of pledging in Rwanda Contrary to Rwandan Laws.
As a result, he was sentenced by a Rwandan Court to serve five years in prison.
It is believed that the said fugitive flew outside the Country hence evading justice.
The prosecution filed an application pleading with the Court to deny him bond or bail and grant his detention for 21 days to have his extradition documents supplied from Rwanda.
The application was certified urgent and was heard on Wednesday 2nd January 2022. The Court slated the bail term ruling this Friday.
Nevertheless, the Court adjourned the ruling to Monday morning. During the adjournment, the Court stated that both the Prosecuting and Defense Counsel alludes new material facts which need to be looked at in depth to ensure justice is attained.
