The fraud case involving a Ksh 180 million fake laptop tender at the office of the Deputy President will resume before Milimani Chief Magistrate Micheni Wendy for directions.
The case had been adjourned the then-trial Magistrate Martha Mutuku was transferred to Mombasa Law courts in 2021.
The office of the Directorate of Public Prosecutions had staged two witnesses to testify against the accused persons.
In the case, Allan Kiprotich Chesang, Teddy Awiti, Kevin Mutundura Nyongesa, Augustine Wambua Matata, Joy Wangari Kamau, James William, and Johan Ochieng were charged with fraud.
The seven accused persons face seven counts including Conspiracy to defraud, making documents without authority, obtaining goods by false pretences, handling stolen goods abuse of office.
They have so far denied particulars of the offence and are out on bail.
