Ruto Cautions Francis Ogolla, Reveals Why He Appointed Him Chief of Defence Forces

    The Commander-in-Chief also directed Ogolla to maintain KDF's image, which they had over the years built through ethical conduct and decision-making.

    President Wiliam Ruto, on Saturday, April 29, advised the newly appointed Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Francis Ogolla to ensure national stability through diligence, neutrality and strict adherence to the rule of Law.

    While presiding over the swearing-in of top military officials appointed to new roles on Friday, April 28, Ruto stated that Ogolla must take up his responsibilities with honour that will bring the country together and help solve national challenges.

    “It is my expectation that the professional standards of the KDF will be observed and under your leadership.” President Ruto demanded.
