Dr Wilfred Machage, Kenya’s Ambassador to Nigeria, died on Saturday, and Deputy President William Ruto described him as a wise and progressive guy with creative ideas.
Ruto praised Machage’s contribution to the country’s development while praying for the family’s resilience and perseverance.
“Dr Wilfred Machage was a distinguished public servant who served the people of Kuria, Migori County and our country with dedication. He was wise, progressive and full of fresh thoughts. He played his part in developing our country.” Ruto wrote.
President Uhuru Kenyatta also expressed his condolences to the late Diplomat Machage’s family and friends.
The President praised Dr. Machage as a seasoned politician, a model diplomat, and a dedicated civil servant who committed his life to the country.
