On Saturday, President William Ruto will travel to Migori County, which is considered the backyard of Opposition Chief Raila Odinga.

At 1 pm, Ruto will make stops at Stella, Sibuoche, Gogo, and Oyani in Uriri Constituency.
He will finalize his tour in Rongo Constituency, visiting Nyarach, Nyaburu, Oboke, and Rangwe, at 3 pm
All eyes will be on Migori leaders, the majority of whom belong to the Opposition on whether or not they will attend the function.
Earlier on Migori governor Ochilo Ayako, had publicly requested to meet the President alongside other leaders from the county to plan a visit to his devolved unit.
The President had granted an audience with the Migori leaders led by Ayako at the Kisumu State Lodge.
In mid-January, Ruto toured three Luo Nyanza counties of Homa Bay, Kisumu, and Siaya, making a triumphant entry after Raila asked political leaders from the region to welcome him.
During the presidential campaigns last year, Ruto had promised to ensure constitutional changes to give Kuria its own county.
The Kuria, which is the minority tribe in Migori county, has been alleging marginalization in the political leadership of the developed unit.
