Deputy President William Ruto has called out his opponents, whom he accuses of using threats and intimidation to derail the Hustler Nation.
He claimed that his opponents’ fear tactics will have little impact on the August election.
He stated that the Hustler Nation is committed to uniting and transforming the country.
He said, “Spare us the blackmail, threats, intimidation, and terror you wish to sell us.”
Dr Ruto said it was time the country moved away from retrogressive politics during a tour of Nairobi Nairobi County today in Kamukunji, Mathare, Embakasi North, Embakasi West, and Embakasi Central.
“This is the year in which we will be free of the shackles of tribalism, threats, and fear,” he said.
The Deputy President reassured Kenyans that the Hustler Movement was focused on putting projects and programs in place that would put the country back on track.
Dr. Ruto stated that generating jobs and opportunity for the youth will take precedence over altering the Constitution to create positions.
He claimed that Kenyans do not need an imperial President and that the country requires a servant leader who will focus on addressing the problems that regular Kenyans face.
The Deputy President assured Nairobi citizens that he will open 20 new markets, construct 100,000 homes, and address the city’s chronic water problems.
