The government has said that it will provide some adults who attend this year’s Jamhuri Day celebrations at Nyayo Stadium with free technology scholarships.
The certificate course scholarships will be available to eligible people who will be present at the ceremonies, according to Interior PS Raymond Omollo.
“The National Celebrations Committee led by PS Omollo has announced free technology scholarships for certification courses for any eligible adult attending the celebrations in person at the Nyayo Stadium on Monday,” the Interior ministry said.
All public holidays, including Madaraka Day, Mashujaa Day, and Jamhuri Day, would have a theme, the Cabinet announced on Tuesday.
In order to highlight the progress made toward realizing national ambitions during such celebrations, it was stated that public holidays are themed.
According to the report, information and communications technology will be the focus of this year’s Jamhuri Day celebrations in honor of the ground-breaking inventions made by Kenyan youth.
