Wiper Leader Kalonzo Fends Off Ruto Advances In Rallies

Mr. Kalonzo said that he did not require Dr. Ruto's sympathy and commanded the DP to cease criticizing him in his campaign rallies.

The leader of the Wiper party, Kalonzo Musyoka, has criticized Deputy President William Ruto for courting him to join Kenya Kwanza.

Mr. Kalonzo said that he did not require Dr. Ruto’s sympathy and commanded the DP to cease criticizing him in his campaign rallies.

“He went to my Mwingi backyard and he was pretending to be my advocate. He claimed I had been oppressed by Odinga, do I look like an oppressed person?

DP Ruto has constantly named Kalonzo’s interview as an example of Raila’s disregard for leaders.

“He claimed that I was forced into an interview by Raila and I failed. I did not send Ruto to those things. I am telling you Ruto, please, leave me alone. Hunt for your votes, I am not even on the ballot, what are you looking me for? Chase after Odinga, he will beat you.”

The Wiper leader expressed outrage at Dr. Ruto’s insults of the president, saying that he had traveled the world and had never witnessed anything like it.

“We have witnessed marvels. I have traveled all over the world, and I have never witnessed a deputy trash his boss in such a direct way as Ruto is doing to Uhuru,” stated Mr. Kalonzo.

He instructed the DP to canvass for his support without involving President Kenyatta in the election because the latter is not a candidate.
