Ruto, Karua, Gachagua cast their vote

As Kenyans queued to elect their next leaders, several politicians and government officials were among the early birds to cast their votes.

Among seasoned politicians to cast their ballots early Deputy President William Ruto and Azimio la Umoja’s presidential running mate Martha Karua.

The two cast their votes minutes after 7am, asking Kenyans to join them in executing their civic duties.

Other officials who streamed into various polling stations to cast their vote include Interior Cabinet Secretary, Fred Matiang’i, in Nyamira county and his Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho who cast his vote in Ndia constituency, Kirinyaga county.
