Deputy President William Ruto is in Washington, USA for a series of meetings and to meet with Kenyans living in the Diaspora.
This is part of a ten-day journey of the United States and the United Kingdom during which he will meet with senior officials from both nations to discuss foreign policy, democracy, governance, and his economic vision for Kenya and Africa.
Ruto is honoring invitations from leaders and major policy institutes in Washington, DC and London, according to his Presidential Campaign Head of International Relations Ababu Namwamba.
Namwamba went on to say that Ruto will meet with senior UK government officials in London, visit the National Counter-Terrorism Center, and talk at both the Commonwealth Secretariat and the Royal Institute of International Affairs.
His tour comes a weekend after he was kicked out of the Jubilee party leadership during the National Delegates Council.
