President Elect Ruto: Count On Me

He also committed to carry on the Jubilee administration's big four program for youth job creation.

President-elect William Ruto has promised Kenyans that his pledges will be kept and that there will be no problems during his presidency.

Ruto, speaking at Maya Stadium at a thanksgiving ceremony, expressed his hope for a day when Kenyans will not be overwhelmed.

“I am taking over a country with a big debt and our economy is not in good stature. If you find yourself in as hole, stop digging. China saves 57% of it’s GDP while Kenya saves 7% of our GDP. I encourage everyone to promote a culture of saving,” Ruto said.

He also committed to carry on the Jubilee administration’s big four programs for youth job creation.

Ruto stated that he will finish all stalled projects in Meru County.

On Miraa markets, Ruto stated that he is in talks with Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh about increased bilateral commerce for the crop.

“Leave Miraa cartels for me. I have a meeting this week with Somalia President to fast track on Miraa markets. Miraa farmers should never be worried, I will deal with all brokers and cartels,” Ruto said.

He demanded that after he takes the oath of office, the Hustler National plan to improve Kenyans’ lives be implemented.
