BY FAITH MUTETE – Rwandas Food and Drugs Authority acting Director general Charles Karangwa has banned the seven brands of peanut butter that the Kenya Bureau Of Standards blacklisted a week ago.
Dr. Karangwa has instructed the public from Rwanda to stop consuming these products and has given importers and supermarkets 10 working days to report to FDA on imported, distributed, and available
stock.
The seven brands which were blacklisted by KEBS are;
Fessy by Fressy Food Company Limited
Supa Meal by Supacosm Products Limited
Nuteez by Jetlak Foods Limited
Sues Natural by Natures Way Health
Zesta by Truefoods Limited
Nutty by Nature manufactured by Target Distributors
