Fr. Sahaya Selvam and the Salesians of Don Bosco have officially commenced a week-long fundraising walk from Subukia Shrine to the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Upperhill.
Spanning 221 kilometers over seven days, this initiative aims to raise the necessary funds for the creation of a modern spirituality center, specifically designed to foster a youth-friendly environment in the heart of Nairobi.
The envisioned center, known as the Modern Youth-Friendly Spirituality Center (MSSC), will serve as a beacon of holistic spirituality, dedicated to deepening the community’s devotion to Mary Help of Christians.
It aims to support the education and evangelization efforts within the region, focusing particularly on the youth of Africa.
As participants embark on this significant journey, the Salesians are calling on the community and supporters worldwide to contribute to this worthy cause.
Their goal is to establish a welcoming space where young people can engage with their spirituality, fostering a sense of belonging and purpose.
