A senior police officer has entered a plea in the Kahawa law courts after being arrested with sandalwood, cannabis Sativa, and an assault rifle.

Juma Calvin Boy Ombata, a Superintendent of Police, was arrested alongside two drivers after two government motor vehicles were discovered in his compound loaded with the consignment.

Constable Patrick Murigi and Corporal Festus Saha, who were driving the two vehicles, were also arrested during the dusk raid.
