The high court has dismissed an application by Sarah Wairimu who is still the main suspect to her husband’s murder, to have her trial stopped. – By Stephanie Mwangi.
In her letter she indicated that her rights were violated when she was arrested over the murder without the warrant of arrest.
According to high court judge Justice James Makau he has no authority to listen to her application. Sarah was arrested and was charged with killing her husband Tob Cohen and was remanded for 40 days at Langata women’s prison.
She was later on released on a 2 million cash bond .Tob’s body was found ditched in a water tank and that was 2 months after his was reported missing .
