‘Sasa DM Zipungue’ – Millicent Omanga Introduces Her Husband

Former nominated senator and influential political figure, Millicent Omanga, has shared a glimpse of her husband on social media.

Omanga has shared a photo of her walking in front of the husband, smiling.

In a Facebook post, Omanga has clarified that her husband is a doctor and that people should now stop asking her if she is single.

“Behind every successful woman kuna mwanaume…na wangu ni Daktari Sasa DM za ‘uko single?’ na ‘ulifanikiwa aje?’ zipungue kidogo,” the post read.

The post has sparked reactions from Kenyans questioning who the husband in question really is.

Lucy Tony of Facebook congratulated her saying, Family is everything. Blessings to you all.

By virtue of her status as a prominent politician, Omanga’s life, including her family, continues to attract interest, with her political ambitions fuelling the same.

She recently dumped President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) for Rigathi Gachagua’s Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP).

Her arrival at the DCP headquarters caused a stir as she engaged in an energetic dance.

Dressed in party colours, Omanga, who is eyeing the Nairobi Woman Representative position, joined party supporters in song and dance.

With music booming in the background, she took to the dance floor shortly after her arrival, with supporters donning green outfits bearing her name engaging her in what appeared to be a dance challenge.

Omanga’s political ambitions have set the stage for an epic clash at the ballot with notable names eyeing the same position.

She has aligned herself with the Linda Mwananchi movement led by firebrand politicians, including Edwin Sifuna and Babu Owino.

“Many people have been asking what my plan is for 2027. I will be on the ballot for the Nairobi Woman Representative position. I will be with my people. I hear you, and we are together in this,” she stated on Friday, February 6, 2026.

Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu, who attended President William Ruto’s meeting with United Democratic Alliance (UDA) aspirants at State House, is among those in the race.

Others lining up with the hope of succeeding incumbent Esther Passaris are activist Hanifa Adan, social media personality Corazon Kwamboka and blogger Maverick Aoko, who have declared interest in the seat.
