Bien Aime-Baraza of Sauti Sol is the fourth Kenyan to be featured on the COLORSxSTUDIOS, where he performed his latest hit “True Love.”
The singer, songwriter, and musician was also Kenya’s first male RnB singer after three multi-talented Kenyan women performed on the platform.
Colors X Studios is a platform that helps local artists get the chance to be exposed internationally.
The vocalist is actually known internationally, as a solo singer and also as a member of SautiSol.
The ‘Inauma’ hitmaker announced it on his Instagram page with a reel of him singing in the studios with the caption;
‘It was all a dream. I have been watching COLORS for years, so when @spotifyafrica called and asked if I was interested, it was a no-brainer! Stream True Love from my new album on all DSPs now. Thank you, SPOTIFY, for being incredible.”
He is one of the six Kenyan artists that are to be featured in the studios. He is actually the 4th one after Karun, Xenia Manasseh, and Laura Oduor.
What is more interesting about our amazing Bien being featured by Colors he came in with a new surprise, the surprise is that he performed his new single, ‘True Love’ from his upcoming album, ‘Alusa Why are you Topless’ (which is not yet released).
Bien has been in the limelight lately after he and his fellow Sauti Sol members had pulled up a fantastic show at the Sol Fest.
The show is said to be their last show as a group for they are going to go on a ‘hiatus’.
He has shown his skills as a solo artist for he has been releasing hits after hits and we are expecting a new album from him.
