Police officers, working jointly with other security agencies, have recovered four firearms during an intelligence-led operation in Lowangila and Ariemet areas of Isiolo County.

The multi-agency operation resulted in the recovery of two G3 rifles, one M16 rifle and one AK-47 rifle. Officers also seized four magazines and rounds of ammunition during the exercise.

Authorities said the operation was part of ongoing efforts to curb the proliferation of illegal firearms and enhance security in the region.

The recovered weapons have since been documented and secured as exhibits, with further investigations and police action ongoing.
