Security has been enhanced for today’s planned tour of Deputy President William Ruto of parts of Nairobi for the fourth time.
The DP and his team will visit parts of Karen, Kijiji in Langata, Kibra, Dagoretti and Kangemi.
Police say they have enhanced security to avoid any form of chaos.
The teams deployed on the routes have urged for civility among politicians and avoid name calling as part of efforts to have peaceful campaigns.
On Sunday, the DP’s rally was disrupted in Jacaranda grounds over what those behind the incident called was name calling by his team.
