The Committee set up to investigate the impeachment of the Governor by the County Assembly concluded its two-day hearing sessions on Thursday last week after listening to submissions from the County Assembly and the Governor.
If the special committee concludes that the specifics of one or more of the claims against the Governor have been verified, the Senate will vote on the impeachment charges after giving the Governor an opportunity to be heard.
There will be no more debate on the accusations if the Committee judges them to be unfounded.
