Shujaa had lost their first Group D encounter 42-0 to Australia on Friday, and they were hoping to turn things around.
Kenya scored four tries in the win, putting them one win away from qualifying for the Main Cup quarterfinals.
Shujaa, led by Innocent Simiyu, recovered from their opening-day setback thanks to tries from Herman Humwa, Alvin ‘Buffa’ Otieno, Vincent Onyala, and Antony Omondi.
