Shakahola Survivors Hit 90, As Police Arrest Another Suspect

One more person has been rescued by police personnel hunting for survivors in the Shakahola forest in Kilifi County, increasing the total number of individuals saved to 90.

According to Coast Regional Commissioner Rhoda Onyancha, despite the fact that the exhumation process was paused on Thursday to relieve pressure on the mortuary, the total death toll remains at 235.

Ms. Onyancha added that one individual was arrested on Friday, bringing the total number of arrests to 32.

The number of persons currently missing in the infamous preacher Paul Mackenzie’s hunger cult continues at 613.

Mackenzie is accused of manipulating his followers into being hungry in order to “meet Jesus.”
