Shenseea Apologises For Postponing Her Kenyan Concert

Jamaican dancehall artiste Chinsea Linda Lee alias Shenseea has extended a heartfelt apology to her fervent Kenyan fan base.

The apology comes in the wake of the postponement of her highly anticipated show that was poised to go down on August 26, 2023.

The dancehall sensation took to her Insta stories to convey her apologies and explain the unfortunate circumstances that led to the concert’s postponement.

“First off Kenya, let me start by saying that I love you guys so much but I’m sorry everything did not go as we were all expecting,” she explained.

She also expressed her disappointment noting that she will make it up to the fans by promising a trailblazing show.

“I’m really disappointed because I was looking forward to coming there and having a grand time with you guys but just know that when I do touch down there it’s going to be problems,” Shenseea said.

Her apology comes on the heels of an official announcement made by the organizers of the event, the Sababisha Festival.

In the statement, the organizers expressed their regret over the decision to postpone the event and shed light on the considerations that led to this outcome.

“We are sorry to announce that after long consultations between our ground team and Shenseea’s management team, we have made the decision to postpone the Sababisha Festival which was scheduled to happen on August 26,” the statement read.

They also promised to hold the show at a later date in October assuring fans that their already purchased tickets will still be valid.
