A terrifying incident unfolded at Cuvee Culinary Creations in Houston when a car smashed through a restaurant window while social media influencers Nina Santiago, known online as NinaUnrated, and Patrick Blackwood were filming a YouTube food series.
The footage, now viral, shows the duo enjoying several plates of food when an SUV crashed through the window. The impact shattered the glass completely, sending the table nearly airborne. In the clip, Mr. Blackwood can be seen instinctively pushing Ms. Santiago out of harm’s way as stunned restaurant staff watch in disbelief.
Ms. Santiago shared the dramatic moment on social media, captioning the video: “Tomorrow Is Not Promised @cuveesculinarycreations Glass Shatters Everywhere! SUV Crashes Through Window While We Eat Near Death Experience.”
Fans reacted with shock and concern. One commented, “I really hope y’all are okay. I’d be traumatised,” while another wrote, “OMG! I’m happy y’all are physically ok! Can’t imagine the mental toll! Thank God you guys are alive and well.” Some even found dark humor in the timing: “I hate that I’m laughing but he was loving that bite until that moment lol.”
Providing an update after the crash, Ms. Santiago expressed gratitude for surviving the terrifying event. “It hit us directly. Me on his left, him on my right, as I bit into a delicious salmon slider. Out of nowhere, but we survived,” she wrote.
She reflected on the fragility of life, adding, “This experience showed me who truly matters; life’s too short for grudges or anger. Let go, forgive, live in the now, and cherish those around you. This could’ve been our last meal. Thankful to the universe and our angel pup Loyal, who passed in Nov 2024 and protected us from above.”
The incident serves as a stark reminder of how quickly life can change, even during ordinary moments.
