South Korean sharpshooter Kim Ye-ji, who became an internet sensation after winning silver in the women’s 10m air pistol event, is now set to star in an action series.

Known for her ultra-calm demeanor and distinctive look—wire-rimmed shooting glasses and a baseball cap—Kim captivated global audiences, drawing praise from celebrities like Elon Musk.

“She should be cast in an action movie. No acting required!” Musk commented on social media after videos of Kim’s precise shooting went viral.

Now, Kim will play an assassin in *Crush*, a spinoff of the global film project *Asia*, Seoul-based entertainment firm Asia Lab announced Friday.

Kim will star alongside Indian actress and influencer Anushka Sen, forming what the company described as a “killer duo” with exciting synergy.

Kim’s rise to fame began after a clip from the Baku World Cup went viral, inspiring fan art and memes set to K-pop music.

Following her silver medal win, she signed with a South Korean talent agency in August and was recently featured in a magazine photoshoot for Louis Vuitton.

With her sharp-shooting skills and newfound celebrity status, Kim’s transition from athlete to action star has fans eagerly awaiting her debut.
