Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has suggested that President William Ruto convert the Hustler Fund loans he promised into grants.
Sifuna said in a statement on Saturday that the President should keep his promises.
“Assist Ruto in keeping his own promises. Convert that loan into the promised grant. He will not help you. Good Sabbath, “He stated.
Sifuna is one of the Azimio leaders who has questioned the Sh50 billion Hustler Fund, claiming that it is not what Ruto promised Kenyans during his campaigns.
According to the leaders, the Hustler Fund does not reflect what the Kenya Kwanza administration promised voters.
On Wednesday, President Ruto launched the Hustlers Fund at Nairobi’s Green Park terminus.
He outlined the fund’s three main goals, which are to create jobs, strengthen the economy, and empower domestic and international investors.
