Sifuna Slams Sudi Over KSh 300M Allegation: “I’m Here to Stay!”

ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna has fired back at Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi over claims that he demanded KSh 300 million to support the proposed broad-based government.

In a fiery response shared on social media, Sifuna dismissed the allegations as baseless and ridiculous, mocking those behind the claims.

“Even a play group child has a better IQ than such people,” Sifuna wrote, ridiculing what he described as failed political schemes to remove him from the ODM Party.

“You people had a budget for Junet, Aladwa, Mbadi, Alai, and Kaluma to kick me out of ODM. It failed. Now you’re coming up with imaginary claims.”

He emphatically declared his position in the party was unshakable:

“Mimi ndio Sifuna and I am here to stay!” symbolizing defiance and loyalty to ODM.

Sifuna’s remarks come in response to statements made by MP Sudi, who alleged that the ODM official had demanded KSh 300 million as a condition for supporting the ongoing push for a more inclusive government.

Sifuna has denied the allegations outright, turning the spotlight back on what he called “desperate attempts” by rivals to discredit
