Nigerian singer David Adeleke, known by his stage name Davido, has confirmed he is getting set to marry Chioma Rowland.
In a previous report, blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus revealed that the couple were planning to wed traditionally in the next two weeks, on June 25, at the Eko Hotel in Lagos.
According to Stella, both families were excited about the occasion, which would bring them together in love and build family ties.
Davido, who is now in London, was captured on camera speaking with celebrity preacher Tobi Adegboyega about his upcoming wedding.
He instructed some people in the sitting room to make themselves available in Nigeria because his wedding is on June 25.
“Guy, you have to come to Nigeria on the 25th, it’s my wedding”.
In a recent interview, opened up about his relationship with Chioma, revealing that he has known Chioma before his rise to fame and fortune.
Reflecting on this, Davido expressed gratitude for meeting her during that period, emphasizing that it would have been challenging for him to enter relationships now as he would feel every woman wants him for his money or status.
Davido revealed the significance of authenticity in his circle, noting that success for him lies not just in personal achievements but in the continued presence of those who stood by him during his humble beginnings.
The couple, who lost their son Ifeanyi in a tragic accident in 2022, welcomed their twins in the United States in October 2023.
