Six people were arrested on Thursday night 4,2021 in a police operation in Nairobi. – By John Mutiso.
They were arrested for contravening Ministry of Health regulations to curb the spread of Covid-19.
The six who were arrested along CBD Starehe Sub-county within Nairobi County include; Kisache Juliet, Stephen Owuor, Kelvin Okech, Ann Wambui, Cliff Ochirng and Michael Ngunjiri.
They were accused that on Thursday 4,2021 at about 2300 hours they were unlawfully found walking in the said road in contravention of state curfew orders.
The six who appeared before the Milimani Law Courts Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku pleaded guilty before the court and they were then fined Ksh 1,000 or two weeks imprisonment.
