Mike Sonko’s appeal against his impeachment as Nairobi Governor has been dismissed by Kenya’s Supreme Court.
The petition filed by Mombasa County gubernatorial candidate Honourable Mike Sonko against his impeachment as Nairobi County Governor was dismissed by the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court judges issued the ruling via email on Friday evening, and it has dealt him a huge blow, particularly with regard to his Mombasa County Gubernatorial Candidature.
Mike Sonko was impeached as the governor of Nairobi, and he claims that the impeachment was illegal.
This decision comes after the IEBC cleared him to run for Mombasa County Governor.
