Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi on Sunday took slammed Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka following the viral pictures that made rounds on social media over the weekend, one of him with ‘a man resembling him.’
Kalonzo had travelled to Kitui to console the family of his late Personal Assistant Daniel Kimanzi, and he posed for a photo with one of the deceased’s two sons. The former vice president bore an uncanny resemblance to the son.
According to the lawmaker, he was surprised to see the Wiper party leader pose near a man who bore a striking resemblance to him, implying that there was something sinister that the latter was not telling the public.
Sudi urged Musyoka to come forward and address the resemblance.
”I want to urge us to be Christians and always speak the truth even if you are not one. Yesterday, I saw a picture of where Kalonzo had gone for a burial event. I saw a picture of two grown-up boys belonging to his former PA,” Sudi shared.
”But from the pictures that we saw, I want to ask Kalonzo why the pictures are so much like him. You are lying to people that you are in the church, why don’t you just be straightforward as I am,” he added.
The lawmaker further urged individuals, especially those in the public eye, to be transparent about the number of spouses and children they have, encouraging them to follow his example.
Linking the incident to a biblical allusion, Sudi suggested that the return of Jesus Christ was being delayed by the presence of deceitful individuals in society.
”Whatever you do should be known, let people know the number of children and wives you have, but instead many people choose to be deceitful,” Sudi urged.
”Apparently, even the return of Christ has been delayed by the presence of deceitful people. I used to know that Kalonzo was a staunch AIC member but I instead saw a duplicate of two children of his former staffer. That was very risky,” he added.
However, despite the viral traction of the photo, the former Vice President has remained silent on the matter— a contrast to his recent political antics where he has been quick to respond to emerging issues.
