State House Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita has lauded the construction of the T-Mall interchange along Langata Road as a game-changer in traffic management.
Waita said the project, a joint venture between the Government of Spain and KeNHA will eradicate traffic jams along Langata, Mbagathi and Magadi.
The project is being executed by CENTUNION Construction Company.
The project is expected to be completed in 36 months and will help to strengthen cooperation between the Kenyan and Spanish governments.
Nzioka said President Uhuru Kenyatta is keen to eradicate traffic jams in Nairobi in a bid to ensure losses occasioned by the menace are eradicated.
He said the construction of Western bypass, Eastern By-Pass, Outering Road, the Nairobi Expressway, and James Gichuru to Rironi Road is part of President Kenyatta’s efforts to decongest the City.
