Police in Kisii County are holding a suspect over the defilement and abuse of two girls in Nyaribari Chache.
The two girls aged 12 and 14 who are orphaned are said to have been attacked by unknown people at night while sleeping in their house.
They have since been rescued and sheltered at a nearby children’s home.
