Authorities in Nyendo, Masaka district, Uganda have arrested a suspect linked to a shocking video that has gone viral, depicting a person defecating on a baby’s head and forcing the infant to drink urine.
The arrest follows widespread outrage and condemnation from the public.
The disturbing footage, which emerged online earlier this week, has sparked a national debate about child welfare and the need for stricter protections against abuse.
Law enforcement officials acted quickly after the video circulated, leading to the apprehension of the suspect, whose identity has not yet been disclosed.
