Sylivanus Osoro Defends South Mugirango  Seat

Osoro claimed that his success had embarrassed the "deep state." 

Vocal MP Sylvanus Osoro emerged victorious to defend his South Mugirango seat. 

With 25,152 votes, the UDA candidate overcame all odds including recounts, to win back the seat.

Denis Makori, also known as Sonko (ODM), settled for second place with 21,710 votes. 

Osoro claimed that his success had embarrassed the “deep state.” 

After being proclaimed the winner by the IEBC constituency returning officer, Osoro said, “I appreciate God and the people of South Mugirango who put their whole trust in me this second time.”
