The Council of Governors has joined Kenyans in cogratulating William Ruto as the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya after Supreme Court judgement.
This is according to statement signed by the Council of Governors CEO Ms. Mary Mwiti.
“As you take up the leadership of this country, it is our hope that you will uphold and protect devolution and its elements throughout your tenure,” read part of the statement.
The council also prayed for God’s guidance in his efforts to serve the people of Kenya and realize his vision for the country.
Ruto will be sworn into office on September 13, 2022 at the Kasarani stadium.
