The first lady Margaret Kenyatta will lead the official opening of a women’s operating theatre for expectant mothers and a pediatric wing at Kapkatet Hospital, Kericho county.
The project was built with the support of Andrew Wemyss Foundation and other partners including the Kericho County Government
Andrew Wemyss Foundation has been supporting the efforts of the Beyond Zero Foundation led by National Mother Margaret Kenyatta and which has been at the forefront of improving the interests and health of mothers and children across the country.
Thousands of mothers and children from Kericho County will benefit from the new hospital wings.
