In 1992, Kenneth Matiba using Ford Asili introduced three piece suit voting In Nairobi and Central Kenya.
And so Matiba’s men were elected councilors, MPS, and himself as Presidential candidate.
In 1997, Kibaki borrowed Matiba strategy.
Once in office, illiterate councilors, and clueless mayors run down the City of Nairobi. Councillor Kingori was elected in Nairobi between 1993 and 1997.
Nairobi became the city in the garbage. Empty spaces in the City Centre were grabbed.
The same was replicated in Kisumu, Western, and Nyanza.
Service delivery became a mirage, all because of a useless three-piece voting pattern.
Enter Kibaki’s DP in 1997. Dick Waweru, Shebesh’s father is elected.
Waweru roots for Dick Wathika to take over the powerful Water Committee, and with it, City Hall was looted dry.

By the time Wathika became the Mayor of Nairobi, there was not a single empty ground left in Eastleigh.
It was during his tenure at City Hall that Eastleigh was auctioned to Somali tycoons.
In 2010, Enter a new constitution.
Dr. Evans Kidero, backed by Raila Odinga becomes Nairobi’s first Governor. No credentials, only a transfer of mismanagement from Mumias to Nairobi
2017. Calamity Sonko is elected by a landslide Jubilee vote.
For three years, Nairobi was the epicenter of drama. It played host to chaos and hooliganism, thinly veiled as Party after party.
10 years after devolution, Raila, Kalonzo, and Ruto want their nominees elected as Governors, MPS, Senators, MCA’s.
They are now demanding a six-piece voting pattern, zoning of political ground to help create political demagogues
The end game? To loot whatever is left after ten years of theft of public funds devolved to counties
