The Sh59 billion 27 KM stretch funded through private public partnership is designed to have two traffic lanes on either direction with 10 interchanges.
The express way is projected to service close to 25,000 vehicles in a day. The primary objective of the Nairobi expressway is to ease the traffic congestion within Nairobi metropolitan area.
