The Directorate of Public Prosecution has refused to register charge sheet of a suspect accused of fraudulently obtaining Ksh 30million citing illegality in drafting the charge sheet.
DCI Inquiry No. 129/2922 – obtaining of Ksh. 30M by false pretences whereby the suspect was to supply sugar to the complainant one suspect namely Issadin Gabane Mohamed was arrested yesterday along University way and booked at Muthaiga Police station. Today officers have taken him to Milimani law court using police charge sheet.
However, officers from the office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution (ODPP)refused to have the charge sheet registered unless the arresting police officers produces him with the ODPP charge sheet.
