Three young men have been slapped with a 15-year sentence in prison for gang-defiling a pregnant secondary student.
Among the culprits, is her boyfriend who was in Form Four at the time of the incident on March 24, 2020 in Mulango Market, Tigania Central, Meru County.
Timothy Murithi, 20, and Duncan Mwirigi, 22, the girl’s boyfriend, met the student in a corridor during the night as she sought cover from the storm.
The three claimed to be out in order to assist her in returning home.
Instead, they tied her hands and mouth with a piece of cloth before carrying her to Murithi’s home.
The vulnerable girl was then defiled in turns before she was thrown out in the cold.
