The Directorate of Criminal Investigations have arrested 3 suspects in connection with theft of clothing worth 2.6 Million.
The three; Samwel Munari, Peter Gitogo and Indiris Mugweya, a Ugandan national were nabbed at Kikopey- Gilgil area, in Nakuru County.
The suspects’ motor vehicle registration number KAX 808L was detained and equipment used to break into containers recovered.
The clothing materials which were valued at over Ksh 2.5 Million were reported to have been stolen while on transit to Uganda.
The operation was orchestrated by officers from the DCI office in Mombasa and Special Crimes Prevention Unit, Nairobi.
