A suspected thug was Sunday night shot dead in a botched robbery in the Kasarani area, Nairobi.
The man is said to have been in the company of three others and was mugging pedestrians when an alarm was raised alerting police who were on patrol.
Police say the other suspects managed to escape the scene after they had attacked and robbed pedestrians of their valuables and cash at Kiagishiri area.
The body was moved to the mortuary.
