A somber mood has engulfed Kakamega High School following the sudden death of a Form Three student who collapsed while playing football on the school grounds.
According to the school’s principal, Julius Mambiri, the tragic incident occurred on the school’s football pitch.
The student, whose identity has been withheld pending notification of the family, reportedly collapsed while actively participating in the game.
The exact cause of death has not yet been established.
