In a heartbreaking turn of events, at least eight cancer doctors were among the 62 victims killed in a tragic plane crash in Vinhedo, Brazil, on Friday.
The ATR 72 twin-engine aircraft, operated by Voepass airlines, was en route to Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport when it nose-dived into the ground, resulting in a catastrophic accident that has stunned the medical community and beyond.
The flight, carrying 58 passengers and four crew members, reportedly lost altitude and crashed shortly before reaching its destination.
