US President Donald Trump remains adamant that the Coronavirus originated in Wuhan laboratory in China.- By Prudence Wanza
Trump stated that he is confident the virus came from the Wuhan Institute of virology adding that US authorities looking at it very very strongly. “

“China might even tell us,” he added.
Trump has however declined to give any specifics despite claiming that he has seen evidence the disease came from the Wuhan laboratory.
The Wuhan Institute of Virology has dismissed the allegations of Trump.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said: “I would like to point out again that the origin of the virus is a complex scientific issue, and it should be studied by scientists and professionals.”
He added that the US should concentrate on controlling the pandemic at home.
The origin of the virus is yet to be identified but it is believed it originated in a seafood market in Wuhan, and the WHO has pointed out the sour s being probably an animal.
