Tutam Talks: Ruto Confesses 2027 Plan With Raila and Uhuru

President William Ruto’s speech during the burial of Raila Odinga has shed light on top-secret meetings between Kenya’s top leaders.

Ruto, who appeared to let the cat out of the bag regarding the 2027 politics, revealed that he and his predecessor, President Uhuru Kenyatta, have met several times to discuss the country’s economic direction.

The president stopped short of admitting to a political deal with Kenyatta ahead of the 2027 elections.

The revelation helps explain why former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua gave Raila’s send-off a wide berth, choosing instead to celebrate Pastor Dorcas Rigathi’s birthday.

Raila’s death, however, seems to have united the country, with all the former eight provinces well represented at the burial.
