Police in Samburu North Sub-County have recovered twenty-four goats stolen from Munanda Village, thanks to a coordinated effort involving multiple security agencies and local residents.
According to the National Police Service, the recovery took place in Seren Village, Marsabit County, after a rapid and well-coordinated operation by officers drawn from the Kenya Police, National Police Reservists, National Government Administration Officers, and local community members.
The livestock were positively identified and have since been returned to their rightful owner. Authorities praised the collaboration, noting that such partnerships between security agencies and the public are key to tackling livestock theft and maintaining peace in pastoral areas.
